I find all works well under win 7 except the web cam. Under devices installed, the web cam is shown as a USB device. Rather than have the cam do nothing, I installed a program called "Security Monitor Pro" which can read multiple USB cams and act as a security device by recoding video.
You can even take snaps. Downloading the trial version enables you to select your USB cam device and then presto, you get a image from the cam. I did notice an earlier version 2. Perhaps there are also other software programs that read USB cam devices.

After some trial and error I downloaded the Crystal eye webCam software for a netbook model that used win7 and it worked. You have to know which model cam you have. Mine was the Shinyu or something like that. There was also a Chicony driver. Haven't had any luck with the mic. Shows it's working in Device manager, but doesn't work with Google video chat.

Has 7 ultimate I dual booted using vbox so I thinked something I removed my hard drive of my computer and I putted it on the second slot which is the backup section of it so I go to my main hard drive and copied all of the files to the hard drive of my acer aspire one so I put my windows xp files to my broken laptop so I pasted it all windows files and putted back my hard disk back on my laptop but I go to the bios my hard disk changed to non recognized so I went to my PC and seen an article of it so it was my hard drive problem so I go to acer website and installed drivers so it worked the thing I do is update my bios.

Uninstall any Synaptics or touchpad software using uninstall programs. Reboot-does Win 7 find new hardware and attempt to install anything? I concur with Gaffer, you'll have to try the generic Vista drivers from Synaptics and hope for the best if Win 7 doesn't find a driver that it likes.
